This end of year holiday doesn't seem to be enjoyable to many :x .
Especially with the homework & CCAs .
Like , we didn't know end of year holidays had homework ,
to be handed up next year for CA1 marks . LOL

ENGLISH HOMEWORK

1} comprehension
- complete all the questions , including vocab & summary
- leave a line after each answer
- submitted on the 1st eng lesson in 2oo8
- last submissions will be penalised

2} debate & research
- prepare for all 5 motions, this is in preparation for the them MASSMEDIA in semester 1
- do a research on all the topics & write out the points {both for & against} on foolscap paper
- include the sources
- debates would be conducted when school reopens
- the scores for the debates would be included in EL CA1
- we would be required to write an exposition on one of the topics in class when sch reopens

{MOTIONS}
1 > the results of talent contests should be decided by professional judges & not the audience
2 > the media should not be report on the private lives of celebrities
3 > the media should be blamed for people's obsession over the appearances and physical beauty

Erm ok, 4get abt the last post i made abt going to write your name,blah blah blah. Now, Alif is working out the prices and we will reveal it to u guys on monday(I hope we can).We will be having the chalet on 31 Oct-1 Nov.I think the date will be suitable as it's not on a cca day.But here's the gd news. Alif said that after his calculations, there has been a decrease in amount of money by $15-$25. So after this price reduction, I hop u all will b more enthu abt the chalet.

Pls refer to the list and write your name beside the item if u wanna contribute(if u have the items at home).By doing this, the amount of money needed 2 pay 4 the chalet will go down.But it's your choice, if you can contribute,the amount of money will decrease.
